GJL Interview with Virginia Cathey

Hi friends, it's your girl Genesis here. Recently, I had the chance to meet the lovely Virginia Cathey, owner and designer of Virginia Cathey Collections during NYFW.

Ms. Cathey who is no stranger to the fashion world displayed her gorgeous designs at the Infinite Exposure Fashion Show. Although this was her first time working with IEFW, Virginia was super excited to be showing her collection.

I am pretty sure that IEFW enjoyed having her this year as well.

If you'd ask Virginia what is her favorite line? She would tell you 'EVERYTHANG!' With her 'Mommy and Me' collection, to the 'Par-Tay Girl' collection, to my favorite, the 'She-Dress' collection. Virginia caters to every occasion from prom to the red carpet, weddings and more.

The one thing you could say about Virginia is that she excels in her versatility. Her inspiration to become a designer you ask? In a word, Women. Virginia wants to represent women, us, who have the 'asses' and 'waists' that the average clothing most women can't wear. Speaking as a plus-sized woman myself, I can relate to the frustrations of finding clothing for the right size.

In addition, to making designing clothes for all sizes, VCC prides itself on making clothing affordable for all women. Women love clothes that great and at great prices.
