The Glorious Sons + Des Rocs @ The Music Hall of Williamsburg

If you were in Williamsburg on Tuesday and happened to hear some awesome music, then you heard the sounds of Des Rocs and The Glorious Sons playing their sets at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Des Rocs who opened for the Sons, (is one half of Secret Weapons) came on the stage with his usual explosive energy. Des's presence is like Buddy Holly on steroids. Des brings tons of energy to his performances that it leaves the audience wanting more. His rendition of Joe Cocker's With A  Little Help From My Friends is always a delight to hear. The crowd's reaction and participation never fail to disappoint. It is just enough of a vibe to keep me and everyone else entertained. Don't believe me? Check out the video and see for yourself! Des Rocs is a definite superstar in the making.

The Glorious Sons opened with One Church and SOS. The group who is no stranger to the music scene and promoting their third album War On Everything began their set with a soulful and powerful One Chuch, which absolutely shook the music hall to its core.

As a first time listener of the Sons, I got an Axel Rose-ish like feel. But the band definitely has their own sound and they sound freaking awesome! I recommend you to check out these guys!

Overall, the night was spectacular. Great music and hanging with a great friend. It was a good night.
