Web of Deceit (Elemental Assassin #2.5) Book Review

Web of Deceit (Elemental Assassin, #2.5)Web of Deceit by Jennifer Estep
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Web of Deceit is another short story in the Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep.

As the story opens, Fletcher is sitting in a car, observing Gin's first solo job. The story is told from Fletcher Lane 's perspective. Which I believe was done to give a voice to the man who meant so much to Gin.

It is obvious that he is a father figure to Gin and bears the guilt for not being able to protect Gin 's mother and older sister from Mab Monroe. In addition, taking her under his wing, would provide her with the skills she needs take down Mab and her crime syndicate. Novice Gin infiltrates a drug/prostitution ring and quickly makes work of her targets, with some help from Fletcher.

One part heart warming and one part bloody fun, Web of Deceit doesn't disappoint. If you enjoy reading the books then you will definitely enjoy reading the stories.
